An update from Fiona, our Pre-Kindy & After Kindy Care teacher - July 2026

The children have all settled back into the routines and excited to be able to engage with friends and enjoy new experiences within the kindergarten program.

The new ninja line in the playground provided opportunities to learn about balance, height and core strength. They gained confidence over this first week watching the older children move across the ropes. From here (with support) they moved across small parts of the high ropes. Each week I know that we will see this confidence grow!
The children certainly had a big burst of energy for art and craft exploration. Most children worked extremely hard and for extended periods of time painting, using tape and collage materials and drawing.
The Mabi group is now full as we have had a new child start this week and he settled beautifully into the program with many of the group supporting him with the routines and showing him play ideas.
