Fees 2026

In 2024, the Queensland Government introduced a new fully funded Kindy model. Kindergarten, known as Kindy, is a part-time educational program for children in the year before Prep. Kindy is 30 hours per fortnight, 40 weeks per year and is free for Queensland eligible children attending a government-approved kindergarten program from 1 January 2024.

In 2026, there are 40 weeks in the Kindy year.

After Kindy Care 2026

  • A limited number of places are available for After Kindy Care on Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays to 5.00pm.

  • After Kindy Care Fees are $990 per Term per child.

Pre Kindy 2026

  • Pre Kindy is available on Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays (just like Kindy) and runs from 2.45pm – 5.00pm each session.

  • Pre Kindy Fees are $790 per Term per child.

 

Working Bees 2026

As a community not for profit kindergarten, we rely on families to help us maintain our grounds and equipment.

All Kindy and Pre Kindy Groups are requested to complete 2 x 4 hour working bees per year and 2 hours volunteering at a fundraising/social event.

Families that commence mid-year (from Term 3 onwards) are requested to complete 1 x 4 hour Working Bee in Semester 2 and 1 hour volunteering at a fundraising/social event.
