Exceeding the National Quality Standard

Chapel Hill Community Kindy is rated Exceeding the National Quality Standard in all seven quality areas.

This rating was awarded at our most recent assessment in August 2022, following the same result in 2015.

It recognises that our practices go beyond the requirements of the National Quality Standard across all areas of children’s education and care.

Physical environment
Physical environment is safe, suitable and provides a rich and diverse range of experiences that promote children’s learning and development.

Staffing arrangements
Qualified and experienced educators, who develop warm, respectful relationships with children, create predictable environments and encourage children’s active engagement in learning.

Relationships with children
Relationships with children are responsive, respectful and promote children’s sense of security and belonging.
QUALITY AREA 6 - EXCEEDING
Collaborative partnerships with families and communities
Respectful relationships with families support children’s learning, development and wellbeing. Community partnerships also help strengthen children’s inclusion and participation in the program.

Governance and leadership
Effective leadership and governance of the service contributes to quality environments for children’s learning and development. Establish shared values and set clear direction for continuous improvement.
