Fees

Current Fees are:

Blue Group Kindergarten (5 day fortnight)
$800 per term

Yellow Group Kindergarten (5 day fortnight)
$800 per term

Red Group Pre-Kindergarten
$375 per term

Red Group Pre-Kindergarten
$375 per term

In addition, Blue and Yellow Kindy groups will be invoiced an Activity levy of $100 (split over the 4 terms).

Once a child is enrolled, fees are payable irrespective of attendance. Parents must give 4 weeks’ notice of withdrawal of their child and those weeks must be during term time. For example, if your child is not returning in Term 2, you must advise us in writing 4 weeks before the end of Term 1. When the vacancy can be filled, a pro-rata refund will be made.

Please note that there is a substantial Health Care Card subsidy for Kindy fees. Contact your Co-Director or Treasurer if you hold a current Health Care Card.

Working Bee

A maintenance levy of $350 is to be paid during Term 1 and Term 2 fees for Yellow, Blue & Red Group Families and $250 of this levy is refunded on completion of 2 working bees. The Kindy retains $100 of this levy.

Working Bees Explained

As a community not for profit kindergarten we rely on families to help us maintain our grounds and equipment.

Blue, Yellow & Red Groups are requested to complete 2 x 4 hour working bees per year (8 hours in total) one working bee per semester. Green Group is requested to complete 1 x 4 hour working bee.

Blue, Yellow & Red Groups will pay:

▪ $175 maintenance levy in term 1.

▪ $175 maintenance levy in term 2.

 Green Groups will pay:

▪ $175 maintenance levy in term 3.

The retained amount of $100 from the groups is used by the kindy for work that can’t be done by parents such as arborist reports & tree lopping which for health & safety reasons must be done every year.

In December we will assign every family their working bee dates for following year, you will receive the list via email. Please note the first working bee of the year is usually the weekend before term starts – we will notify those who are given this date by email in good time.

A voluntary building levy is also requested from parents. This is a voluntary levy which is tax deductible to parents. This building levy is set aside in the budget to provide for the costs involving maintenance and repair of the buildings on site.

Voluntary Building levy suggested amount $50 (per year).
