Fees 2024
As of January 2024, The Queensland Government has introduced a new fully funded Kindy model. Kindergarten, known as Kindy, is a part-time educational program for children in the year before Prep. Kindy is 30 hours per fortnight, 40 weeks per year and is free for Queensland eligible children attending a government-approved kindergarten program from 1 January 2024.
In 2024, there are 41 weeks in the Kindy year, a change that comes about every 4 or 5 years in the education calendar. The additional week will also be funded for Kindy children.
After Kindy Care 2024
A limited number of places are available for After Kindy Care on every day from Mondays to Friday to 5.00pm.
After Kindy Care is available on the same 5 day fortnight as your kindy days.
After Kindy Care Fees are $970 per Term per child.
Pre Kindy 2024
Pre Kindy is available on a 5 day fortnight rotation (just like Kindy)
Pre Kindy Fees are $770 per Term per child.
Working Bees 2024
As a community not for profit kindergarten, we rely on families to help us maintain our grounds and equipment.
All Kindy and Pre Kindy Groups are requested to complete 2 x 4 hour working bees per year and 2 hours volunteering at a fundraising/social event.
Families that commence mid-year (from Term 3 onwards) are requested to complete 1 x 4 hour Working Bee in Semester 2 and 1 hour volunteering at a fundraising/social event.
